Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Statistiche:
What's the special thing about KCD?
The immersive world.

I can see over bugged things, repeating faces on Npcs, Mutt, silly conversations and so on, just because as soon as you get on your horse and ride off into the incredibly immersive surroundings, these problems are forgotten. I really hope they can catch this again in KCD II.

I guess this game is not right for you. It's alright. People have different opinions and various abilities. No reason to fight over this.

This appears to be a trend since the trailer for KCD2 dropped - post after post trashing KCD or questioning why it still has a lot of concurrent players, despite being six years old and a rather niche single player game.

Game journos hate KCD for political reasons and most gaming Youtubers all regurgitate the same 2018 "jank" talking points - so KCD, and by extension KCD2 doesn't have any manufactured hype. They just seem to wanna sh*t on the small but active KCD fan base for no other reason than provocation.

sure it is immersive...but then i actually have to PLAY it and ♥♥♥♥ me.
- I can imagine that immersion and realism must be horiffic.

Messaggio originale di Magic_Codfish:
combat is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WEIRD, as somebody who likes mount and blade, i just cant seem to get the hang of it. enemies are psychic, they seem to move faster than me.
- Wierd? You clearly didn´t hold a sword in your hand. Or even watching actual sword master specialized for medieval combat is not a thing in your case. Imagine that mercenaries and soldiers are more trained than guy who was raised by black-smith. What a surprise, huh?

Messaggio originale di Magic_Codfish:
every time i get hit it seems to ♥♥♥♥ me up and throw me around
- I recommend you try it yourself. A strike with a sword or warhammer without proper training will throw you across the field. The impact of weapons when you get hit in the helmet, for example, is huge. And I'm not even talking about the impact of weapons without these things. Be glad it's "JUST" this. That other part is just your feeling.

Messaggio originale di Magic_Codfish:
archery? oh, you wanted to AIM? yea, we are going to make your reticule disappear HAHAHAHAHA FUN RIGHT!!!!
- I wonder why they are removing the dot. And just from a game that tries to be as close to reality as possible. A real mystery. I'm guessing that when I go to shoot a bow, I'll see a dot in front of me that will show me where I'm going. Such an abomination to have something approaching reality in a realistic game, isn't it?

Messaggio originale di Magic_Codfish:
i could have more fun roleplaying a peasant if somebody gave me the actual black plague and made my ♥♥♥♥ and brain rott out from syphylis.
- You wouldn´t. I can´t even phatom how much you would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it if that would be the case. Roleplaying is something is what is far beyoénd your comprehension if this game features are wierd for you.

It... could be that you're overreacting to a difference of opinion.

You´re still avoiding that question what made you think that its Halo from 15th century? I´m really curious what lead you to this conclusion.
Well for once I think this game is a little overrated. The "fight system" clunky as fk, dialog system straight from early 2000s. Graphics and game setting bring this above average though. Nothing to write home about.
Messaggio originale di Will:
It's basically a classic Bethesda game, it's janky and unbalanced, but exactly the way I like it.
This is such insult, Bethesda cant even make good story nor gameplay.

It is literally the opposite of a Bethesda game. Bethesda makes games that are a mile wide and an inch deep. KCD is very small in scope but extremely deep. Just because both KCD and Bethesda games can be janky at times doesn't mean they are similar in philosophy.
