Henry still can't write after "mightier than the sword"...

So I made sure to do the "mightier than the sword" sidequest before diving into the "pestilence" sidequest BUT for some reason when I talk to the guy from "last will and testament" or Nicodemus I only have the option to say that I can't write... What's going on?

The "might than the sword" quest is just to learn how to read, not to write

I also tried to talk to Nicodemus to find the cure and I can't read either... I'm lost...

So after you do mightier than the sword, you should be able to both read and write. I am not sure why the other poster said that you can't write after doing that quest. If you know how to read, you can write the words that you know how to read.

I would suggest going back to the scribe in Uzhitz and talking to the scribe again. There might be a chance that you got a "complete" on that quest, but maybe you did not exhaust all the lessons available with him. There should have been 3 different lessons with the scribe if I remember correctly.

Another thing that might be the issue is the level of your reading skill. Not 100% sure if this ties into it, but my reading skill was 7/8 when I completed this quest.

Edit: I do know that quest you are on right now is timed, so you might want to load an earlier save to prevent deaths in the town. Not sure how long the timer is or what deaths result through the passage of time.

Thx, I will try "mightier than the sword" again. I did It just before of "babtism of fire". Well, see how it goes.
