Note: From a cold start, one pull of the bellow is considered "cook", 2 consecutive pulls is "simmer", three consecutive pull of the bellow is "boil". This wiki previously INCORRECTLY stated that "each pull is 1 turn". This is wrong, use the hourglass to keep the time and pay close attention to the animation to keep potion at correct heat level. If you can not get 3 potions from level 0 alchemy, you made a mistake.

If you want to know how many pulls you need, it usually is 3 pulls for one turn, 4 for 2 turns and 5 for 3 turns if you start cold.
Or you can pull until you see bubbles, and pull once extra for each extra turn you need.
It don't know if its correct or not, but it works.
There's also a guide here on steam that tells you how to powerlevel alchemy (you can make mistakes and skip steps and still get a potion).
There ya go. Just long enough to boil. 4 pumps should do it. Use that guide, it makes brewing significantly easier and faster.
