I'm sure most agree that KCD is not the perfect RPG but it sure is a fresh breath from most of the slosh that's out there. Being different or unusual and having a distinct scope of play doesn't make it bad. It's OK not to like something.
I was really hoping they would release a final patch or a light "remaster" but it's definitely good enough as it is especially if you pick up a few mods.
You are making informed review on a review, out of your own bias, unable to even make the simplest google search. I am the pro player in the most heavily and mechanically demanding game in the world, and you can watch my gameplay online.
Just because you don't know something does not mean it did not exist. Most people could not write or read for the most part of history. For long time people believed earth is flat, and sun rotates around it.
Magic and cultivation has always been a thing, accessible to elites, not to common people. There are plenty of people in our world with abilities and powers beyond your imagination.
That kind of power and knowledge was never shared publicly, akin to how you can never gain access codes to nuclear weapons.
There is a lack of good rpgs in the world, and this one fails to meet the mark of a decent RPG.
It has no good combat, no good roleplay, no good story. Terrible interface. It is mediocrity in every aspect. If people reflect on this they might make something better, but otherwise you are feeding the fuel of bad RPGs production. I have seen a lot of positive reviews for this game, and I am flabbergasted to how low people standards are. It is like people loving MCDONALDS.
Do you mean you would've wanted Henry to cast spells like in the Adventures of Merlin TV show?
Or possibly anyone who says 'realistic' without intentionally being ironic.
