Flickering shadows, rock and bushes disappears ?

Ive played this game with no problems for a week now. Looked very nice with everything maxed out, hd texture pack - in 4k - playing on a 4090.

I quit the game - later the same day I load back in and shadows are flickering bad, look all pixelated n stuff. I try to mess around with the graphical settings, changing everything but noting helps.

I later search and people have the problem also, i saw somebody said i should try to write (e_ShadowsMaxTexRes=3328 e_ShadowsPoolSize=8192) and that actually fixed the shadows. Great, but then i notice that r ocks and bushes, are flickering in the distances, even patches of grass... w...t...h - but that i can live with tbh - the shadows that still flicker inside and around fireplaces now is something harder to live with

Anybody know anything about this ?

First troubleshooting step: did you restart computer to see?
Are you monitoring temps?

There are many Cryengine settings which can be tweaked to optimize visual quality and performance. I believe the Cryengine website has a library of all the settings with descriptions of what they do. That might be a good place to start.

Trust me people that has theese problems have been all over the "first troubleshooting steps" before, what im experiencing is not a rare thing, its a very very common thing matter of fact (try search it up and watch the tons of reddits post about it) - all the basic steps have been taken. I have somewhat found fix and that is to lower lightning to very high instead of ultra - that will remove the flickering indoor and outdoor, is just strange that this happend 10-15 hours into the game, there was nothing last time i played this game 4-5 years ago, or for the first 15 hours - it happend to me like to many many others - after restarting the game.

There does not seem to be any simple fix to this as there is not answer to why this happens
