That's god's punishment for generation '5 minute attention span' who can't be arsed to to ride on their horse manually for 3 minutes. Everyone with half a brain should have noticed by now that fast-travel is a bollocks idea. It's slower than if you ride there manually, and it throws you into ambushes that you would have seen from a mile out if you had bothered to just use your horse.
