False edge Combo not in menu

I remember I preformed the false edge combo a few times, but for some reason it suddenly disappeared from the combo's list?

Not sure if this is bug or I did something to have it disappear, but please help me get it back. I like the false edge cause it looks cool.

Is that so? Though I do remember going to captain Bernard to learn combos. Should I return to him to relearn it?

Did you use that potion that resets all your used skill points and lets you respec? If so, it also removes some unique perks that are only obtainable by playing the game. I don't know wich perks exactly from the top of my mind, but the False Edge combo you learn from Bernard is one of them. These perks can't be reobtained, if i recall correctly - or at least not all of them, and i think this combo is one of those you can't get a second time, because the dialogue option for Bernard to teach you combos is gone after you chose it once.

I just used lethean water and I still got False Edge and for example the resistance bonus from herbalism. So I don't know why it's gone. You don't even need to relearn it so... it must be some weird bug.

That's good to know, guess they patched that at some point. It was on my first playthrough only a few weeks after release when i used that potion, never touched or tested it again because it removed all special perks.

I never got or saw a False Edge perk. I don't think I was ever offered it?!

Just went into my skills menu and nothing in the combos or perks is slash, slash, slash.

Yeah, forget this comment. Was just something i remembered happening to me almost 3 years ago, wich got patched apparently. No idea what caused it in your case, sorry.

It's not "offered" to you, you have to got to Bernard and ask him if he can teach you combos, same as with masterstrikes.

Thanks for your reply. I learned MasterStrike and i thought I had learned faints and combos. That said, the last time I trained with him I saw that there was an option to train combos. It seemed to be 'greyed out' though, so I didn't ask.

People here all say that combos are pretty ineffective so it didn't concern/interest me. Kind of dumb of me, now that I think of it.

All training has add even if only a little.
