Leveling in Skalitz
HI;
Coming back to play KCD after long time. Is leveling your skills still available in Skalitz?
I've been trying to knock down the villager in front of hay stack near blacksmith. And he sees me every time.

Stealth could be tough, but I see no reason why you couldn't increase it, just do naughty things where people won't be able to see you. In regards to other skills, what I did was pick about every herb, and get the perk that increases strength when you use herbalism, I want to say I got herbalism to around 17 or so. Punched the sheep and cows some, killled a boatload of chickens (can cook and sell the meat), then I picked a fight with kunesh before even asking him to pay his debts. To add insult to injury (for him), you can even take his clothes when he's knocked out from the fight, then he truly "has nothing". :D

I don't really see any point in leveling up in Skalitz. Is there a point people do this??

It's a nice peaceful area to build skills, and I could be wrong, but I swear it seemed as though the first day lasts forever/a long time if you haven't talked with your father. Plenty of food to eat nearby if you have the tapeworm perk in HC. The higher your strength, the more loot you can carry when you go back to bury your parents, and to take care of any bandits along the way. I bought a sword that was around 300 groshen i think (trusty companion?) with money I got from picking herbs. I think I heard of one person that had enough skill of their own, and had built up enough skill in their Henry, they killed some if not all of the cumans when you're supposed to run. May have been the same person that knocked out a guard and took their stuff. I also think it'll be advantageous to level in Skalitz if for my third run I do HC with all negative perks.

This made me wonder...
Are the chest in game connected? I mean, if I store something in Skalice, may i pick it up at Rattay Mill?

Nope - there is a universal chest in game that will be available at each of your beds or "Home"s (Mill or Tavern), but that's not until after the Skalitz Prologue.

However, there is a chest in the main living area of Henry's house that will keep safe anything you put in there during "Homecoming" - so, while it's sadly not connected to the universal chest, you can come back later to retrieve items left behind

Start the game stronger... Instead of wondering the open world complaining about being easily killed in an ambush
