Another option might be to simply increase your base inventory capacity via a mod if you feel it's not sufficient. You don't need to go full infinite inventory space, but you could increase the limit to make it more reasonable.

I am not complaining at all about that, I just wanted to know if a mod like the one I described exists for the sake of realism alone, I don't mind walking over-encumbered in this game, so I don't need any mods to enhance my inventory capacity, it just bothers me a bit to have to keep pressing X to have my horse near me where IRL a horse would follow you like a dog if you teach it.
It's more about having that feature for the sake of it and because I don't like seeing my horse popping out of nowhere, but I like it to follow me at command when I walk. :)
Thanks for your answers, I will try to tinker with those files, I should still be able to edit some .xml files but, if someone more experienced out there is able to do something like what I described in OP I would be grateful! :D
