What is the best mace in the game?
Bailiff´s Mace, Ceremonial Mace, or Raven´s Beak? I just can´t decide which is the best.

I like the Raven's Beak personally, it seems like it swings faster than the Ceremonial or Bailiff's Maces, maybe has a little longer reach, too, which is great on horseback (I think it was actually designed for mounted pursuers). Not quite as much damage as the other two, but still very respectable.

The Heavy Warhammer - jab damage is important

Where can I find raven´s beak? I got it as a reward for winning the tournament but I sold it later on. Now I want it again. Some people told me that I can find it at a camp near Neuhof. However, I can not find it.

Typically they are looted from armored opponents - see link for more information

If you have BoB dlc , Raven's beak is in the chest inside Kuno's camp.

Now I have finished comparing the three maces. It seems to me that Bailiff´s mace remains the most deadly., even though it´s the cheapest one. i don´t know why the game developers did that.

Why would anyone stab with a mace? They're absolutely terrible for that.

These weapons are used for slash and blunt, and the best slash/blunt damage maces are Ceremonial Mace (3 stab/3 slash/61 blunt) and Bailiff's Mace (2 stab/ 2 slash/ 61 blunt).

Even you really like stabbing, there is still no point in Raven's Beak or Heavy Warhammer which have higher but still terrible stab damage values. Just get a proper stabbing weapon like Stinger which is 79 stab

in the case of raven's beak its not actually about stabbing, raven's beak is one of four maces in the game that deals all of its damage types on a swing so it gets the stab damage on top of the blunt damage as a bonus which essentially means its just straight up better than the two ''best blunt'' maces you mentioned

for heavy warhammer its just nice to have an anti-armor tool with a not-completely-garbage stab

stabbing with a mace in general can be viable aswell, its usually a faster follow up after a clinch and can still trigger headcracker

- There are two types of attacks: stabbing via the right mouse button. And slashing via the left mouse button.

- There are three damage types: stabbing, slashing, blunt.

The stabbing (i.e. piercing) damage occurs when you do a stab attack. And there are some who think that the slash and blunt damage occurs when you do a slash attack.

If you have a link that that shows that the Raven Beak's slashing attack not only gives slash and blunt, but ALSO stab damage, would appreciate it.

check the wiki page for raven's beak

Thanks - so if that WIKI information on the damage breakdown is accurate and there are four special weapons that deal stab/slash/blunt damage types on a swing and the others deal slash/blunt then:

- Raven's Beak does 72 damage on a swing, split between 14/3/55
- Ceremonial Mace at 64
- Bailif's Mace with 63
- Spiked Warhammer with 59 (another special weapon that does stab/slash/blunt)
- Heavy Warehammer is in 5th place with 56 damage.

That does indeed make Raven Beak the best mace. For comparison, the metal-plated battle Axe does 85 (40s/45b) on a swing, the highest in the game, while the St George Sword does 75 (72s/3b) but with almost no blunt damage.

you're ignoring one very important fact. you only want to even USE your blunt weapons on heavily armoured opponents, which will resist massive ammounts of stab and slash, but even the best armour in the game, even with DLC, resists precisely bugger all blunt. so actually, raw blunt highest dmg is what you are after. sure, ravens beak might be nice for 'utility' but even there' its going to be outperformed by good ol georgey boy.

you want bailiff or ceremonial. both have highest raw blunt. cero just has beter other stats.

In my playthrough, the maximum damage of Bailiff´s mace is 1 point higher than ceremonial mace, and it puts most enemies into sleep with a blow to the head. Raven´s beak, though said to deal all types of damage with one swing, is less impressive in combat especially when dealing with enemies in heavy armour. Besides, Bailiff´s mace seems to trigger the headcracker perk much more often than any other weapon. I don´t know if there´s a hidden buff.
