Stupidly sold Beran's Cup...
So, yeah... Apparently I had a total brain fart and sold Beran's Cup, along with a large number of other chalices...

To go back to a save before vendoring means losing an entire day's gameplay, including several primary quests being completed, so really not gonna happen for a single side quest...

I've been going from vendor to vendor hoping I'll be able to buy it back, but I have 2 questions :

1. Will it even still be in their inventory? Am I wasting my time hoping to buy it back, as will it disappear from the vendor's inventory after a while like other items?

2. Will a cheat mod break achievements? If option 1 is a bust, will using a cheat mod, that reenables use of the console, break my achievements? Normally I don't care about achievements, but I also don't care enough about a single side quest to break them...

Any suggestions here would be appreciated...

No big deal really, wont destory the game or the quest just dont end the quest you may come across it again soemwhere.
Who was the vendor?
Should have sold it to Peshek.
But do try buying it back from the merchant who bought it off you or try pick pocketing him .
If your lock-picking skills high know if you can break into the merchant safe and steal it back

Its not worth installing a cheat mod to spawn another is it?

Cheat mods dont break achievements KCD alolows them and has also included modding tools now on Nexus.

Thanks for the reply...

I have no idea who I sold it to, that's the biggest problem... I was more concerned about whether it would disappear from the vendor's inventory, as I would prefer to fix it "properly", by buying it back (once I found the right vendor)...

If, however, it can disappear from their inventory, meaning I cannot buy it back, then, and only then, would I look at a means to spawn it back in my inventory to fix the issue...

Given it's quest related, I would hope that it would remain indefinitely, but I'm not entirely confident on that...

Given this was from almost 5 years ago, I have no idea what the end result was now as I simply can't remember...

It will remain in vendor inventory for a while and it will disappear after their inventory refresh. At least you didn't sell the family cross!
