are the explicit scenes skippable ?
I've heard that this game has some explicit scenes, it's not a problem for me. But my cousin want's to play this game start to finish. He's kinda young just 11. Since i myself have not played this game, is there a way to skip them ?

Yes, don't worry, he will be able to skip the scenes where we see a naked human body and concentrate on those where we kill people with knives while watching them bleed out in excruciating pain... is so much healthier...

mate his Paretn's are okay with violence. Ask them not me.

Henry is supposed 15-16, on the cusp of manhood by medieval standards, although the actor playing him is much older. All cutscenes can be skipped manually by pressing and holding the 'use' key for a moment while they're playing, and also there are two scenarios where Henry having sex are related to side-quests that you can skip, and a main quest that you can solve in at least two ways (one of which skips the drunken merrymaking). There's actually a steam achievement for beating the game as a virgin, and another for avoiding killing, so you can maintain your innocence if you wish.

I don't recall any really naughty scenes - aka boobs out etc. It's actually just implied, such as when Henry boofs the princess at Talmberg. They embrace - and end scene.

TW3 on the other hand............ oi. Geralt gets some serious poon and not a lot is left to the imagination.

There are two cutscenes with "boobs out" - one in the main questline and one as part of a small side-quest of sorts.

In both cases, as others have said and as in all cutscenes, you can skip through the details.

'MATURE CONTENT DESCRIPTION
The developers describe the content like this:

This Game may contain content not appropriate for all ages, or may not be appropriate for viewing at work: Some Nudity or Sexual Content, General Mature Content'

The natural human body is the least of your worries, this is a violent game at the best of times with adult themes throughout. Probably not a great idea to let them play it.
Your Cousin is too young to play this. There is bad language, sex scenes, open prostitution and brutal killings. Have him download Thomas the Tank Engine games. I'm serious.

There are ratings for a reason. Get him something more age appropriate.

It wasn't against you personally but against the logic behind it.
I always found it profoundly stupid to want to censor a piece of nipple but to have no problem showing violent or gory scenes.
Wanting to censor the nature of the human body to focus on horrible things...
This is truly stupid American puritanism
It’s universal not just “American Puritanism”. Try creating this in the Middle East or parts of SE Asia and the censorship is harsher. Yet they have violent movies etc but nudity is a big no no. Even India has strict no nudity in their Bollywood genres.
The US on the other hand has nudity and violence in most of the movies. Hell even the kids movie Wild Wild West has an explicit scene at the start.
KCD is an adult game for adults not children.
Maybe there was the “American Puritanism” pre 1990s but those days are well past.
Letting your child play violent video games but not allowing nudity is stupid I agree. But I’ll have the last words on this matter by stating this game isn’t suitable for an 11 year old.

An 11 year old really shouldn't be playing this game.

Sorry, but your cousin's gonna have to wait a few years to play this game. 11 years old is way too young for the game.

Why does anyone have to justify their preferences? I do not want to see nudity, but I don't care about explicit gore and massacring soldiers by the tens of thousands. Why? I'm not going to tell you nor do I have to justify it.

Ironically enough, you are the hypocrite for judging how people want their entertainment.

Truly stupid Western superiority complex.

Moaning about others judging you, and following it up with 'Truly stupid Western superiority complex.'

Does your head have a fairly serious dent in it, by chance? Cus that was pretty stupid.

Let him play skyrim instead.

Seeing as how your cousin will end up playing it anyway, be sure to emphasise that this game does have graphic fighting (not... 'gore', but more realistically brutal I think) & handles a lot of mature topics + is a narrative historical-dramatization of real life events that happened in the past from the perspective of a young blacksmith-turned-unofficial squire.

It's also worth letting them know that Henry, the character, needs to be 'leveled up', not the player. That means taking time to practice their skills in combat, endurance/travelling, archery, alchemy, etc...

Also that alchemy/potions don't work like that irl, at least not in such a beneficial way. lol
