HD English voice opinions

I read a review saying it sounds great, but that the new voices kind of lose the older medieval accent and have a more modern American accent.

Is there any truth to that? I tried looking up comparison videos on youtube, but didn't find anything.

Same here. I figured it was all the same recordings but remastered or whatever.

Characters have had the same voices since the first time I played it years ago, to my knowledge.

Have not played for a while. The only character with an American accent that I remember was Robard of Talmberg. His voice was also very familiar to me as a fan of the Arma series, because Dan Brown also did voice acting in those games.

i downloaded the HD audio packs but didnt notice any changes

That's good to hear.

I didn't see any description for the voice pack. So it was strange to read that because that would imply that they re-recorded every line in the game, which seems kind of far fetched.. So maybe that person was just hit with a placebo affect or something.
