However, there are limited save slots AND limited Schnapps - so use wisely.
OR...
i installed this unlimited save mod after playing without for a while:
https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/380
p.s. there is also a game Autosave feature that saves the game automatically at certain quest and interaction breakpoints (like using the Baths or Sleeping, after the Prologue)
Actually I dont even remember if you need to be able to read to make it but once you have the alchemy skill saving is a non issue
It's amazing how many people dont press ESC and read the options, before they spend 10x more effort coming to discussion forums.
You don't need to learn to read to make potions, as long as you somehow know the recipe (such as by looking it up online) or through just experimenting. Also, the text in the book just has the letters in each word scrambled - if you take the time, you can usually work out what it says.
Ambushes and events happen at the same locations on each road.
So...
Learn where the events happen and avoid those sections of the road
Ya i did not remember it has been so long and i dont worry now as my reading skill is almost maxed
If you don't wanna bother with that. Just sleep in your bed and save.
Going to a tavern, hiring a room for 1 night, run to it. sleep for 1 hour and it auto saves.
Once save slots are filled. Just delete some old ones. Ez pz
saviour schnapps is far from limited. You just need to know where to look. go the inn above neuhof and u can get around 4 of them a day, Inn keepers usually carry 3-5 at each one a lone. This is a problem of people not wanting to figure out a game and just rather be spoonfed/mod it out. It's sad and I wish people would give the game it's honest chance. But I digress, no one has patience anymore.
Also another mechanic people gloss over cause "ZOOOOOOOOOOM" When you're at an inn, select the method of paying for multiple nights instead of one.. this gives you a permanent residence/bed with your universal chest for the rest of the game, and you can do this at all inn's.
It's really not hard to save in this game at all, people just literally can't be bothered lmfao.
The alchemy crafting system is a nice nod to the old "craft to make money" components of other rpgs. And i agree that it is a good way to earn money legally and lawfully.
... but ::shrug:: meh...
there are other ways to make money faster, even without going fully Medieval.
