How to give money back to traders
I "accidentally" stripped both the armoursmith and blacksmith os Rattay of everything, and when I get back there, they have literally nothing to sell nor any money. How do I give it back? Which chests should I put some of my money to restart thweir economy?

i do not know of any way to fix your issue in game. ive never run into it. so i have no means to even begin to guess about in game solutions.
however. the only suggestion i can make as to a possible fix.
theres a mod for kingdom come delieverance that makes all merchants richer.

this mod im guessing does this by adding code to the game in which once done. automatically puts a certain amount of gold in merchants inventory.

this is only a guess. something you could try.
so that is the only suggestion im able to give.you can try to download and install the mod that makes merchants richer. start the game and see if theres some more coin in their inventory.

oh one more suggestion that i forgot. this game does have a merchant restock of their inventory after a time.
if you havent tried that. do so.
i believe its like 3 days. so wait or sleep for 3 in game days and they may have some more gold and things in their inventory.

Either do some quests and come back after some days or go to sasau.

waiting for a reset is certainly a solution - smiths are usually around 4-5 days i think ?

to answer the question:

the Rattay armorsmith's Groschen is in one of the chests/cabinets in a second floor back room of the Ratthaus building. Easiest access is from the stairway behind the building.

the Rattay Weaponsmith's Groschen is in a chest/cabinet in a first floor room behind the weaponsmith's shop - easiest access from left side door where there's a forge

the Rattay Blacksmith's Groschen is somewhere in the building(s) between the Huntsman's work area and the Blacksmith Forge - i think there's a chest in a back room on the top floor and another chest in the back room on the bottom floor.

Any Trader Loot Chest should work for placing money back into the Trader's inventory (?)

My best Sasau armorsmith(there are 3 total) has about 30k money. I just love when all bandits respawn :))

You have to progress in the main story line if they stuck like that. I think it is because the world thinks that it is the same day every day until you advance in the main story .

So a trader's money is based upon the value of the items they have for sale. For instance, the more you buy, the less money they have as their inventory shrinks. Whereas the more you sell, the more inventory they have and thus the more gold they have. Can't recall how many days needed before complete reset.
