Also at the main gate of the giant fort the enemy and or guards will fight each other and you can join into the fight to help guards or just watch them all fight when it's over you may loot all of them but if guards remain alive don't loot friendly bodies. When you use the word Skalitz those are the only things I know about that area also along the road you might be ambushed once in a while.
You can help the guards kill bandits and Cumans, but usually you can't tell the difference between the guards and the bandits until they are close enough to kill you. I sometimes ride a horse through the battle and kill whomever follows me. The guards won't chase you unless you injure one of them.
Yes - very good tip for grinding top gear and excellent loot.
Skalitz is the only spawn (i've found) that has a 100% spawn rate - other spawn location vary in frequency (most locations seem about 1 in 10 likelihood of spawning, some maybe 1 in 20).
And any spawn location i've tested works like Skalitz - travel far enough away and return, and there is a chance it has respawned - there doesn't seem to be a spawn location time memory in game (meaning the re-spawn isn't "every few days", just a rare event based on zone load).
