Super proud of myself for saving timmy(spoilers)

Hot damn, I didn't think I could do it. Having to fight 4-5 bandits running at Timmy seemed impossible. However I realized I have a horse & bow . I wiped the floor with them with bow hits and running tactics.

I never even thaught of going that way. I just mislead the bandits, send them in the wrong direction and then speak to Timmy in peace...

I just lie and tell the bandits Timmy is in Rattay. Kill the one bandit who stays to watch you, then go talk to Timmy.

Unless you have rushed the main quest you should have high enough stats to just bonk the four half-timbered nitwits right at the mill. Two of them are basically insta-kills with a mace, because they're not wearing helmets.

That means your speech stat was too low. Do a few side-quests after finding Reeky. 'Aquarius' for instance is one that yields a lot of speech XP.

I generally choose the option to rat out Timmy's location.

Klll the bandit they leave behind.
Grab horse, ride to Timmy, past bandits looking for him.
Talk to Timmy.
Wait out front for bandits to arrive.
Shoot first bandit in the face with an arrow.
Kill remaining bandits.

You generally end up killing them one at a time. if not maybe 2v1.
However usually Timmy will help. So it is 2v3

I made a new game. Spent 6 rounds in the tourney got myself a mace and then when I arrived at the windmill and was surrounded the doom music kicked in and slaughtered them all.

after a while, i started training less and less just to increase the challenge.
