You can repair or replace NPC clothing and weapons!

I replaced Kornelius's torn rags!

I hired Kornelius and other refugees to come work in Pribyslavitz. Now he is a very profitable shop keeper, but he is still wearing his torn rags. So what can I do about it???

Sneak into his chest at night and replace them with identical but 100% condition items and he wears them!

You can do this with all your NPCs! Sneak around with repair kits after midnight. You will need cobbler's, tailor's, and armorer's kits to repair all the shoes and clothing. You can also repair the shop guard's weapons with blacksmith kits. If they are too damaged to repair, you can replace them with identical items! Just don't get caught doing this good deed or they will accuse you of stealing.

Won't work as their inventory tab is the same as ours. So, they might wear other clothing if you put some into their chests

If the modding community for KCD were much larger, there would already be mods for novelty outfits like clown costumes...... that would be quite amusing.

Yep, used to be. But the tool for kcd wasnt set up user friendly, so died out quite early on. Some of the mods still work, but most were never updated
