How am I supposed to buy 10 bags of charcoal?

I sell kuneshs axe, obviously thats not enough for 10 bags. what else am i supposed to do?

I got all of Kunesh's stuff by beating him down (he'll fight as much as you want til you win, your mom will heal you), waiting til he napped in his house, and knocking him out and looting his keys. You can then return all the stuff to your father who, while annoyed with you for 'stealing', agrees that Kunesh didn't own the stuff since he didn't pay, and then he gives you more than enough money.

You can also get your friends to help you intimidate Kunesh into returning the stuff, or get lockpicks from that one friend and pick the box yourself although the lockpicking in this game is super ass at low levels.

Yo I did the prolog. again and I beat kunesh alone, (I threated him in convo).
(he acknowledge his loss, and give you the key to take what you want *no steal from him).

So you can get the tools with no lockpicks, no stealing and no subdued victims too.

Another time, he loss, but I had a choice
to kill,
continue beating,
release and he flees (not giving keys) wich I did chose.

... can't tell how i got those options but I was stuck*: no lockpicks (I didnt know Frits still around in the fields), kunesh fleeing.. can't get to him. can't get the hammer and nails.

*ended with selling greens and flowers.

Even if he runs away without giving the keys, eventually he'll reappear and go to sleep in his house, you can knock him out and get the keys from him that way.

personally I gather enough herbs to buy the butcher knife. then go beat up the cows when they KO on 1 hit I kill them take the meat cook it then sell it. cooking removes the stolen marker. cow punching builds up unarmed, strength, warfare. possibly more. killing with the butcher knife builds up sword and other things. I figured this out on my second attempt. the first time I just followed the quests and made it out of the pro log. no problem the second time same night i saw dandelions and started picking flowers. chased sheep trying to punch them punched chickens, then found the cows which are only bad if you get caught.
to get lock picks you have to pretty much go straight to Kunesh after talking to your father. and let him beat you or just tell da da. getting Theresa nails among many other things breaks that quest. be careful Kunesh is a wus after you beat a couple cows to death. so if you want the lockpicks make sure you lose the fight.

this has to be trolling. if you are struggling this much in the first 30 minutes, you are going to hate this game. It doesnt get any easier.

It sounds like the OP was only trying to sell the axe.

I tried haggling for a better price but I guess I annoyed the guy because when I went to sell/buy it suddenly wasn’t enough anymore.

However, charcoal boy seems to love cheese. I threw a slice of cheese into the deal (taken from your home) and I went from still owing money to making a 3 gold profit.

I don'r have this game anymore, but I didn't sell the hammer and axe since it was supposed to be brought back to the father, right? Like none of this makes sense at all why I would do any of these things unless I look it up and see what I'm supposed to do

Actually, Kingdom Come aside. If you refunded a free game, do I assume you get nothing back or the game's worth afterwards? With Epic games, you usually get nothing since you bought the game for nothing.

I got money by selling the axe and nails and just doing the quest missions. You could try haggling. Another way is beat up the guy who owes your dad and steal his items or beat up one one the guys you fight after throwing manure at an house and steal their coin. They have 12 coins
