Transfer save files between accounts

Hey guys,

So basically I've been playing KC:D on a different steam account and recently made a new steam account (which is this one). So I've been playing KC:D on the other account this whole time because of my save file and don't want to start all over again (yet). Anybody know a method where I can simply transfer my save file to this account?

FYI: This account doesn't own the game, it is simply family sharing with my other account. I do however own only one PC.

KCD game saves are in the .\playlist(#-1)\ folders at the following location:
C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\kingdomcome\saves\

Should be as simple as copying a save from one [username] to another.

I went to the folders that you mentioned I found the following map:

playline0 (in C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\kingdomcome\saves\playline0)
It has the following files: exit.whs & permanent001.whs

I don't have two maps with two different usernames. So which file do I drag to where?

Can I assume nobody knows how to solve this and I should just restart and lose 50 hours progress :^(

start the game with ur new account, find where the new saves are being made, and place the old save in that directory.

there is no other additional information i can think to give you.

Thank you everyone, I found the solution thanks to your input! This is what I did: I started the game on the account I wanted the save files from. I noticed the reason why I couldn't locate my save files was because depending on which account you are logged in to, it changes the save file. THIS IS BECAUSE OF AUTOCLOUD, DISABLE THIS FOR K:CD OR MANUALLY DRAG THE SAVE FILE OUT AND REPLACE IT.

So, simply make a copy of the save file that you want and replace it once you are logged in back to the prefered steam ccount.
