All I have is keyboard and trackpad. Sometimes an actual mouse.
During dialogue choices, the game will scroll between them very quickly. Makes it difficult to actually make a choice
That's not infinite scrolling duckey, that's called "fast dialogue.". "Infinite scrolling" for example would be continuous text that goes on for an "infinity", which one would presume that there would be some type of new scientific breakthrough that would be impossible to replicate anywhere else on this Planet.
tomato tomato
For the "dialogue choices" pop-ups, the game does not auto-scroll through the choices.
The transparent dialogue window pops up, and lists the choices, and places the cursor on the first choice and waits for player input.
For example, interacting with a Rattay citizen will generally pop a dialogue box with the general choices "(How's Rattay)" and "(Exit)", and the cursor / pointer will point to the first option "(How's Rattay?)".
If the game is auto-scrolling through the choices, without stopping, then that would be a game input problem (your hardware), not a "game" problem.
And i do agree that if the scrolling doesn't stop on it's own - it is very likely infinite, until you find the stuck key or bad input source.
Not really sure what the problem was, it's solved though. Hopefully.
if it happens again, i would suggest unplugging keyboard and then mouse to see if it stops.
but it sounds like you may have a laptop ? most likely it was a stuck key.
I do have a laptop, yes. I do have a wired mouse that I'm using, which I hope is what fixed my issues.
happens often when u smoke or do other things near ur pc
tobacco get stuck under the key
Not sure. Unless this game is super-sensitive to the W key. Never had a problem with any other game with the characters (in those games) moving without prompt
Oooh just give it a quick blow duckey and it should work rather lovely afterwards.
if there is debris under keyboard key
remove the key, pry it off with a spoon handle,
turn upside down,
shake all debris out of it and clean the space like a surgeon
then put key back properly
this fix keyboard problems
