Black Peter (possible spoiler)

So getting ambushed by this guy. Can't touch him. Master strikes literally do zero damage or he dodges them outright. Swinging on him just invites a master strike of his own. Get touched by his blade you're poisoned...

Searched the web, it's either "Just cheese it" or "lul get gud noob he died in 2 swings" seems to be a cop-out for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ QA testing. Can sit here and master strike for 15 minutes and hope I damage his armor enough to actually damage his health or exploit the kill like some sniveling cheater. The F gives?

Edit: There's also this one combo strike that's literally impossible to block/dodge/parry. About ready to uninstall and never look back. So f'in stupid.

Almost all the problems people have with beating this game come from ignoring the training the game gives you. All the dialog is important. The game tells you how to fight, and gives you all the training you need, and all the equipment you need. By the time I fought Peter, I was heavily armored from looting bandits and had no trouble beating him. But the first time I did die of poison. The second time I carried antidote.

And not sure why so many consider B Pete "cheating", LOL, after all have you not poisoned a food pot yourself? I have, several times and think its a brilliant game mechanic. Sure, it sucks to die from poison after besting B Pete in the ambush, craft a poison antidote!

Ur uninstalling because of one guy? THAT YOU CAN LITERALLY AVOID? You dont have to go fight him rn, you can literally just get better at combat and come back later.

Just purchase antidotes when ur going to fight him, I fought him with a greatsword and not with a mace like all the others suggest, still worked fine. Using a shield can also help in blocking certain strikes.

Also you can do so much more than just fighting him head on, sneaking up on him, using arrows to get his health down first, etc.

Get the 'headcracker' perk also, you can possibly end him by just stabbing/slashing to the head.

Kill him with a mace and masterstrikes to not get poisoned or use a bow wth deadly poison arrows. Both trivialize him.

As we've said before (some of us several times), Training Level matters because
enemies don't scale

If you can't take him down in melee, just mount up and obliterate him. Mounted combat is a legal cheat in KCD.

Just do the following - approach him so that he notices you and attacks (but if you come to close, you may fall into his trap and be dismounted, so watch out), and then charge - stab - move past him - turn back - charge and stab - repeat until he's down, and that's it. Ah, and remember to always charge pressing ALT, so that he can't dismount you.

Always best to right-side stab with a mace or axe if possible. Mace is my preferred weapon of choice due to the superb hitting power.

I personally don't use them, they're too short to my taste, it's a lot easier to land a hit with a longsword. But mounted combat is OP anyway, tbh.

But of course, I did. The mounted combat being OP is exactly why I advised it, if the man is struggling with eliminating Black Peter on foot, he should try this legal cheat, that is my point.

Headcracker even triggers when you clinch your weapons by face hugging him and then pressing right click and henry will knock the enemy's head if his strenght is high enough. It's my prefered way of knocking out parts of enemy groups when I am overwhelmed.
