License not verified (The game cannot be launched)

Hello,

after the last update (15.7 GB) I can't start the game. I always get the initial KCD logo and after a while I get the message: "License not verified, Steam client is not running". At the same time, I normally have Steam running. I tried to verify the integrity of the file and it is fine.
Other games work fine.
Does anyone have a similar problem?
