Cheat Mod on nexus, but remember once enabled your saves are tied to this mod so the only way back is make a backup of your saves before installing it. Disable cloud remote saves

I wasn't really looking for a cheat mode or mods, just a level setting.
There is actually no way to change the difficulty other than to hardcore so you will have to go through the game as it is. You will go through a few crushing moments, but there’s nothing you won’t be able to overcome without proper preparation, finding good equipment, and practice. But cheat mod really helps to enjoy the perks of the game more XD
Meant to add definately get UNLIMITED SAVE mod
https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/1
And Bow retical using cmd consol
wh_pl_showfirecursor 1 needs to be redone everytime though you start the game. I like having a crosshair to aim.

The two linked below are probably your best bets (one or the other):

What you need to do is focus on what the game tells you to do. If you pay attention to loading screens and in-game instructions, it's all there. You need patience and persistence and resolve... and a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
If you can't muster those characteristics, it's a rage quit waiting to happen. You could save yourself that turmoil by quitting now.
I did the alchemy grind right in the beginning. I can make the save potions, and they're cheap.
As far as combat goes, right now I'm choosing my battles very carefully. I've never been able to figure out how to get nexusmods to work.
I'm focusing on other things, hunting, stealth, etc ... Some of those other things also will help me with combat to. Hunting raises the bow skill also (and I think agility, not sure). Anyway, combat is starting to seem a bit easier, but I'm also trying to pick easier fights so I don't know. Running away is my favorite fighting style at the moment.
My computer loads everything too fast for me to be able to read those tips (there's a complaint everybody wishes they had). I did do the fighting training several times, but combat outside of training does NOT work the same way as it does inside the training.
It’s just that early on you REALLY want to avoid highly armoured opponents. Your cheap weapons might not even do a dent in their armor.
When fast travelling think twice before skipping unless it’s an ambush. If the skip fails, you start in ♥♥♥♥ creek. If you scout it, you should be far enough to slip away unnoticed if it’s too bad.
The combat itself is fine. The problem is that this system, especially how locking is handled, really needs improving for the sequel.
You just don't understand it yet. For instance ...how can any opponent "run circles around you" if you are constantly moving? Or did you miss that vital game instruction that is repeated over and over again?
Also you can use the scroll wheel to change opponents.
If you're actively locking on (tab on m&kb, IIRC) you have to unlock to run. But in my experience, if you run, you die. "Not a good move."
