Can your Groschen get stolen?

Basically I'm contemplating whether or not to carry all my groschen or to keep it in a personal chest.

Can it get stolen?
If you lose in a fight will you lose groschen?
If groschen can get taken or stolen; is it affected by how much you're carrying?
Etc etc.

You *can* lose coin. But only if you are carrying it. You can also only spend it when you are carrying it though, including to buy off guards if caught lawbreaking. So a bit of a downside to keeping most of your coin in your storage.

That said, because I run a weight mod for coin, I do try to keep weight down to less than a few pounds of silver (roughly 200-500 coin, unless I am going shopping) - proceeds from selling items go to my horse to keep me mobile - before being placed into the storage at some convenient point.

So I might as well carry it all then? Can you explain more on how I can lose it?

When I lose groschen is it dependent on how much I have or is it fixed on the activity/event of how I lost it?
