Dude. Have a little Chasity. I was really dissapointed when the guy FORNICATED and thus did *things* before marriage in such a world were you were supposed to be historically accurate... Most of people married and then did things, it was a taboo and shunned to do things before marriage

Considering that Lady Stephanie is already taken, I'd have to sat Tess. Lady Stephanie was only using young Henry for one purpose on account of the fact that Sir Divish is so old that his nuts are as dry as a desert/were irreparably-damaged through torture during his multi-year captivity.

I say Stephanie, for various obvious reasons.

You know they still were people. And people did *things* out of marriage since the dawn of mankind and will continue to do so till our extinction. Sure the church was stronger and preached against it, but even Popes had mistresses. So its not unrealistic at all.

This is true and in my book ,was even more common than today.
This is due to marriages back then, having been " permanent " between people, who were promised to each other, back then marriage usually was not about love and divorce was not an option.

This means that couples weren't happy together and cheating was quite a common factor. In some occassions even both knowing about it.

This is what I found out years ago when I read in to the topic, marriage during medieval times.

Well said.

And Theresa is the better romance option. Long term prospects for children, and no Bohemian war lord trying to gut you when he finds out you've been shagging his squeeze.

Pretty much this. Stephanie is just a dangerous option, almost suicide.

Theresa is boring and comes from a family of criminals. Sure, she looked after Henry, but he saved her from the Cumans. They're even.

Stephanie, on the other hand, is completely lovely. Yes, she has a husband, but he's old and has a nasty shoulder wound, and no known heir. The role of Lord of Talmberg will be up for grabs soon enough. As with everything else in this game it's all about patience and getting the timing right. Henry just needs to keep his tight olive hose on for a bit longer.

The fact that Divish is old, infirm and infirm (pun intended) is the very reason that Stephanie predated Henry: for his youth and virility.

It's generally accepted that this was also the case with King Henry VIII, especially after the discovery of historically-verified letters from one of his wives to her female cousin stating that Henry VIII couldn't "rise to the occasion"....... why do you think that Henry VIII had all his wives beheaded? Spoiler alert, it wasn't because "they" couldn't supply him with a male heir.

It was due to the fact that the fat bastard had arteries more furred up than a house cat's throat, so he had problems getting blood to where it was needed, when it was needed.

Quite a realistic and interesting view.

Stephanie is not a romance option - sure you can shag her, but then she loses complete interest in you - she's just a spoiled brat hor (and probably slept with all the guards)

Theresa has good connections and is very realistic about the relationship - definitely no ball-and-chain there, so just have fun.

But, if your asking which one ? Well, absolutely both, at least once :)

Personally I like Theresa's sassy personality and the woman who played the model for her is quite tidy too.
