Well, he shows that the performance is decent, but that's something I wasn't particularly worried about. Still, thanks for the input!
Beat Sir Capon in archery and rabbit hunting with the gyro aim (got to set it up yourself). Good default controls apart from gyro. I get stable 30 fps anywhere with a mix of medium & high and very high textures. Looks fabulous. Battery drains fast though. No crash so far.
I'll report back when my playthrough comes to an end for future searchers.

Of course. I do that often.

Are you playing the Epic Games version like the previous commenter?
And I doubt the deck is like the switch where even a cheap SD can reach its max transfers rate.
I actually bought a cheap one: A1 is the lowest write speed. Read speeds on micro SD cards don't matter for the deck as the deck bottlenecks here with 100 mb/s, even cheap cards are higher than that.
Any non fake card is perfectly fine for the deck, cheap ones only take longer for installs.
