It's worth trying the game without mods (disable them temporarily) and see if the issue still occur.
Step One: Go into your StayCleanLongeer mod, go all the way to the actual PAK file
>D:\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods\StayCleanLongerGetDirtyGradually\Data
Step Two: Open it with 7zip or whatever you use. Inside the zip window, Navigate to Libs\Tables\rpg\
Delete ONLY the two Override files.
Keep the rpg_param.tbl and rpg_param.xml files.
((ProTip: Don't expect defacto support when you use mods. Devs/TechSupport only focus on Vanilla Game Issues only, which makes perfect sense. Also, modding the game since the last couple of patches has been a roller coaster. I suggest waiting until they actually release the ModTools.
With no mods at all I run into zero issues. With mods I find I have to debug them myself hours on end to figure out the issues. At this point the game is actually better without mods + the current DLCs. ))
"A Sorted Inventory"
"More Functions For Mouse Right Button"
"No Inventory Sound"
"Ultimate Saving" is kinda necessary
Uhhhh. No.... The game functions without those mods. I've played without and with mods. Those mods are not BugFixes/Patches either, they are "Make my life easier" mods.........
You don't NEED "no inventory sound", or "unlimited saving", or "A sorted inventory" (Just stop hoarding everything rofl.). The right mouse button doesn't require to do more for the game to run. The game will 100% PLAY without those mods. This is nowhere NEAR unplayable.
Learn what "Unplayable" means.....
Hint: Unplayable = the following examples:
1: A bug that blocks story progress in a story focused game
2: A bug that corrupts save files
3: A bug that breaks any core mechanics like combat/movement
There ya go...
TBF after beating the game several times, I like to experiment with mods. Mods are a secondary form of entertainment after the main game is finished and I like to explore various mods (Especially broken ones because I love to figure out what the "modder" ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up :P). It's like a mini-learning experience and is jsut generally enjoyable.
Some people use mods to make the game easier/cheaty like the people who "require" unlimited saving because they like easier gameplay.
Some people like to make the game into the hardest experience possible with no saving at all because they like a challenge.
Some people just wanna improve certain aspects of the game to fit their personal tastes ((IE, I use the Herb Gather Radius mod and Lighter Herbs mod because I garden IRL. I don't feel the need, personally, to pick 1 herb per plant and all that in a game. Everything else makes the game more punishing far as combat an trade goes.))
All personal taste. But the game runs best without mods at this time. Hopefully we will get the full on ModKit before 2020. But I'm willing to be patient and give WHS all the time they need. I love this game, I love WHS, so hey. Labor of love.
to save you from future arguements I got one advice, dont question why people use mods, game developers will never ever fully satisfy every gamers needs so thats why they allow people to mod their games, just because youre happy with youre game others dont have to be happy with their games, basicly you've stepped into a hornets nest of arguements i wouldnt go there if I were you :) take this advice for what its worth have a nice day :)
E.g. "Roads Are Dangerous" was outdated and incompatible with KCD 1.4 already. Same with "food spoil".
Pay attention when installing mods.
The purpose of the game is entertainment, not laboring through bad unergonomic UI while hearing annoying sounds.
Circle of Eight are assume Modders at that time. They fixed a TON of bugs and over the many years they added many quests and new content which made that game great compared to the original DEV team that gave it three small patches and walked away from their broken game.
KCD is a great game and it is currently supported by the DEVS.
The only point I should've tried to make was that I don't understand all the problems people have with KCD but some of them run mods and have problems so all I wanted to say is I don't run any and I don't have those problems and I enjoy the game and you are right it's entertainment and each of us can play it anyway we want.
