What does the HD voice pack do?

Can you actually hear a difference between the basic voices and the HD voice pack? Is it a big difference?

Does the HD voice pack have different lines? I would love to play KC: D with old English, and not contemporary English.

Not much...It mainly give High Definition sounds..BUT you have to Have "High Definition" SPEAKERS/HEADSET to appreciate the Diff....(sigh)....get it? Ya..go ahead...Use it..as its a freebe right?

The game takes place in Bohemia --- old English voices wouldn't make sense at all. As it is the poor voice acting/accents are a serious detraction for me and ruins the immersion.

Change the language to German or something if you feel the English voices don't fit. Nice necro by the way

In that case, English voice-overs don't make sense at all.

However, old English styles add immersion by being time-period accurate, even if not language-accurate.

Actually if it was 15th Century English, we'd be hearing Middle English and not Old. It's a good hundred + years before we get Early Modern.
