Next to godliness
I need help to start this "Robber baron quest" I read that you have to finish the Next to godliness quest before you can start it. Only I did never start the quest, I continued on the main storyline and played all the way to the ending. Somewhere around at the ending it said that I had failed the quest "Next to godliness" which I had totally forgot that I had started it. Now I can't start it, which means I can't start the Robber baron's quest too. It's my fault that I never started the quest in the first place, but can I like go to the camp and just go full rambo and kill Robber baron? Or can I still get the quest ?

No, sorry. Some quests are time sensitive, and when you're told to meet someone at a certain time, the quest will not wait for you. The Robber Barron quest is part of a chain, so you can't start it because you failed the prerequisite.

It's not the only quest line you've potentially lost by doing the main story. There's a few others that cannot be started if you complete the main story first, with no way of doing them at all other than starting over.

Bit of a shambles, really.

The camp appears only with the quest, otherwise some players would accidentally clear the camp without having the quest.

What to do depends on what is your goal:

If you want just more gear and groschen, forget about this camp. A lot of "ordinary" bandit and cuman camps respawn after some time.

If you want the achievement or you want to play the quest, just reload a save before entering Vranik. Even if you don't backup your saves, you should still have a permanent save file "The die is cast - quest started" (after leaving the monastery). In that case, it might be a good idea to backup and remove all your subsequent saves. That's also what I did, I first rushed the main quests, then reloaded to do side quests. Not optimal, but worked for me.

No need to start all over, unless you want to do the Merciful achievement and you already killed people in the main quests.
