Why does Sir Radzig trust you so much

I get that it's a game, but with the devs shooting for historical accuracy/realism why exactly have I been given the mission of locating and sabotaging the main bandit camp where the mercs and Cumans are sitting at all by myself? Up to this point story wise all Henry will have done was basically play detective up and down the country maybe taking on one or two bandits, and it was only recently(again story wise) that you ascended upwards from being a peasant. Sir Radzig no doubt commands many dudes who are experienced at this sort of thing, so why hasn't he sent them with you or in your stead? Looking for a cool ingame theory really.

Last, seeing how surprised Radzig is when you report your findings in the camp, he totally didn't expect there to be so much, well equipped and dug in enemys.

so why does he keep sending him out on dangerous missions that would more than likely get him killed after like five minutes of sword training? Or is it just because he's a bastard?

Yup, he's a b astard. He was also adopted by a different father. On top of that lived life as a peasant. Along with that, everyone in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fiefdom knows him. That'd be annoying AF to have a son like that around.

I don't know why. I am still far from completing the game but I believe it has something to do with your father. It's clear that your father had earned the respect of the lords but it is unclear why. I believe that he was more than a master swordsmith but chose to live a simpler life.

lol i was looking for that post where someone spoils it. after I found out why i was like whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat, and the subtle hints made much more sense.

There is alot hints dropped and I picked up on it in the Skalitz at start of game.

because Henry actually gets ♥♥♥♥ done. All the other characters just seem to walk around doing nothing useful

I actually think the progression is pretty sensible.

You get sent to Talmberg because you are the only one they can send. Radzig takes you into his service but only assigns you to town patrol. It's Hanush who sends you hunting with Hans and that's a punishment. Radzig sends you to Neuhof but that is in company with a bunch of soldiers. It is Bernard who lets you look around and then sends you to find Ginger. Next time Radzig sends you anywhere it is just to continue the investigation. After that you've pretty much proven yourself.
