I have a "question". I started game and instead of going to the first missions after reaching Rattay, I followed the miller's ones and started wandering to other villages... But the thing is that now once I got to the Rattay starting quests Hans C. hunting I come to see that I CANNOT PICK arrows that I missed (believe me, they are too many... XD) from the ground. I can see the 3D model object in the ground, when I aim I see the text "arrow" (like when picking flowers) and it also says I can take them and the keyboard key (same as for all use/pick actions in game)... but it does not work. It does not show as "broken arrow", but "arrow". Also, I killed some animals and when hit and killed the animal corpse gives you some pieces of meat and 1 arrow. I have no more than 1 stack for the kind of arrow, so I understand that those were not broken (no broken arrow in inventory) and fully operational ones.
So my question is, only the arrows in a shooting place or in a body/animal can be picked? Should the ground ones be pickable too?
Confirmed: When I kill an animal and register the corpse the flesh/meat and arrow come to my inventory, only missed arrows are not pickable as individual objects... ¿?
NOTE: Thinking it could be related to any perk, I check "archery" under "combat" in character attributes but there are no a single perk for "archery"... And also, it says not until level 5 will be able Henry to aim properly and not damage his arm". So, does my character need to increase archery level before being able to pick missed arrows?
Saddles, bridles, and horseshoes can be repaired.
You just have to unequip them from the horse, move them to your inventory, and think about where you might want to take a damaged piece of leather or iron for repairs.
The caveat is that the program does not work as quickly/smoothly/seamlessly as most people would like, so if you're in too much of a hurry you'll come away thinking you can't.
Picking up arrows is a bit like picking recalcitrant herbs, only worse.
Stand close to the arrow (almost on top of it) and move your mouse cursor around slowly until you find the sweet spot. You'll know when you've found it because you'll see that an arrow can be picked up in the lower right hand corner of your screen.
Hit E once to pick it up, but don't keep the key pressed too long because it will confuse the program if you're near an animal that you've just killed.
The bad news is that this only seems to pick up one arrow at a time. If there's a way to pick up multiple arrows at once (similar to the way you can gather multiple herbs), I'd like to know about it.
I've noticed that as my archery skills have improved I'm breaking far fewer arrows (I don't do as much poaching as I should, but I can't remember the last time I broke an arrow). I've also noticed that ordinary arrows (as opposed to the different classes of hunting arrows) are very sturdy and more than adequate for killing rabits and the occasional deer.
I wish there were some kind of a group pick up command function, because when my aim is off I can leave quite a few arrows on the ground, and they're a pain to pick up (and I need to pick them up because I'm never sure that I won't run out and not be able to replace them).
