toggle galloping on horses instead of pressing Lshift all the time?

No... horses are living animals that don't have endless stamina. You shouldn't always race around. Also, horsemanship is a major part of the game. Taking it out would mean gutting a huge part of the game and its fun, just for a few people who feel it would be convenient. I'm sure there is or will soon be a mod for that...

not talking about taking out stamina. it's just pressing a button whenever i want to travel fast makes my finger sore.

Ingame you can not. But with Kingdom Come Autowalker[www.nexusmods.com] you can also auto gallop.

Theres no effort with the double shift, it only takes a second..

I barely fast travel for enjoying riding so much.. besides Im always over burdened from killing and collecting bandit loot..

I'd like this too and it has nothing to do with being lazy. My hand cramps up after holding down the shift key with my little finger after awhile. Probably arthritus since I'm near 50 lol. Would be nice to just toggle the gallop and press and hold for the full sprint gallop.

lol I know this thread is old, but wow, it's pathetic to see you guys calling this a lazy feature. It's literally the most annoying thing that there is not a toggle run option. The fact that you guys are damage controlling this by claiming it's realistic or saying it's lazy to not want to hold the button is ridiculous. You do not loose immersion by double tapping and letting go to sprint, then tapping again to stop, versus holding the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ button. HAHAHA wow, pathetic.

I agree it's pathetic you guys be toxic over a preference instead of offering actual help. Short answer, no it's not possible without a mod. I just binded the Sprint key to my mouse and it's much more pleasant than destroying my pinky.
