Robber Baron Fight
So, i'm at this Quest and this time i want to fight the Robber Baron and his Bandits with Captain Bernhard and his Soldiers. The thing is that Bernhard and his Man are so weak they die and fleeing always. I can kill about 6-7 Bandits before Bernhard flees and the rest i have to take on my own, which i can do and finish the quest this way, but i get no reward from Sir Hanush because a lot of soldiers did die. I reloaded several times but the weak soldiers are always drop like flies.

Whats the secret to win the fight with Bernhard and his Man alife and by my side? I tried coming from the left and kill the archers first, but this didn't work. I tried focus on Wolfin and kill him as fast as i can, but this didn't work either. And i tried to simply kill as much Bandits as i can but it was never enough, even if i kill more than half of them on my own Bernhard flees.

I went to the camp alone and sniped the entire camp from high up on the rocks. It was touch and go for a bit when they chased me, but I made sure I was taking enough performance enhancing drugs I could survive. As well, if you retreat far enough a few will lose sight of you and scamper back to camp.

I was wearing very lo-visibility gear. That's important.

Yeah, that will work too, but i'm not looking to solo this. I'm currently trying to do things i never did before in this game and that is currently to win this fight with Bernhard, Capon and the Soldiers.

Well, equitable solution is to convince him to leave.

Otherwise, if you like his armor, just kill them all yourself - without Bernard

Just walk in and start killing - even after you've had the talk about them leaving :)

I usually try a mixture of raid and fight. Just snipe one or two guys when you recon the place and run. This evens the teams a bit.

Your doing the right thing by targeting Wolfkin, this usually works for me. Get Mutt in the fight if you have him.

Another point is that Capon and Bernard cannot be killed at all, so another way of edging a win would be to ignore who they are fighting, and support the red shirts who might get killed.

The trigger for Bernard for calling a loss is not easy to guess. I think its a time issue, if you take to long taking down Wolfkin a timer runs out maybe.

Every time I have done this Bernard and his men wipe the floor with the bandits, even without my involvement. Didn't know you could "lose".

IIRC, the first time through, I carried (on foot) the Baron's body all the way back to camp in order to claim the reward Bernard offers. When I got there Bernard reneges and shies away from the dead body.

He did say that we lost too many men even though the band was wiped out and the leader killed.
