NO SOUND!
I cannot play this game because there is NO Sound. I have played other games on Steam to check if it's my pc, but I can get sound on every other game but this one. I have also went into sound settings and "reset" them, still nothing. I updated my pc and restarted, still no sound. Lastly, I tried verifying the integrity of the files on Steam in settings. Still... no sound. If I cannot get the sound to work, i will have to request a refund. The first time I played this game, I had no issues with the sound. Cannot figure it out... Please HELP.

Press windows key - go to desktop - then go back to game - sound should restore

Or quite game and restart

is this option
"Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device"
checked or unchecked in your Windows sound settings?

you can find it here:

) Press Windows+R.
) Type mmsys.cpl into the run prompt, then press Enter.
) Right click your speakers or headset and select Properties.
) Click the Advanced tab.
) Check the box for Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.
9) Click Apply, then OK.

make sure its checked and then start the game.
-edit: if its checked already try it unchecked...

in case you have a dedicated soundcard or maybe some special gaming headset that may need software you should give some more info about your sound setup.

@OP Also, if you manage to rectify this, could you let us know how and complete the thread? Thanks.
