25 hours does seem too little. You either need to leave that quest for now and come back later when you're a lot stronger, or you need to find an edge. There are some ways to defeat him without actually fighting him. Two examples: 1° You can use the Headcracker perk. It may mean trying 20 times but when the perk triggers, Runt is one-shotted by your underpowered Henry; 2° People have often said on these forums that you can kite him with a decent bow, although I've never tried that myself.

Personally, I think you should enjoy the world of KCD more, do sidequests, kill some bandits and such to get money from their gear, increase your skills (in this case especially combat skills), improve your gear, and so on.

cheers guys. i'll go back a few steps and git gud. all top comments.

The main quest is actually not that long until you come to that fight. If you have a high enough charisma and Father Godwin caves in immediately, you can do the entire quest-sequence from the Neuhof raid to finding Timmy in three in-game days. But that sort of efficiency is exactly the wrong approach.

To do the Pribyslavitz job you need to be well advanced in stealth and a good melee fighter or an accomplished archer. By the time you have the neccessary stats you should be somewhere around 50-70 playing hours.

I'm a bit slow-paced, so I went there with over 100 playing hours, but level 18 in both archery and sword fighting. That allowed me to drop the enemy archers from the wall like flies and Runt was a master-strike one-shot.

More capable players could probably go through that mission with much lower stats, but you were definitely a bit too early.

i was below level 10 in everything haha. i've chilled out and enjoyed the whole map and some side quests etc. gotten into some mischief and trained with the combat dudes in talmberg and rattay. i'm in the monastery mission now. keep getting caught with a weapon haha. took a few weeks off but will return shortly.
yeh i can imagine some of these missions are way more fun when your henry is a savage. i swear i haven't got much time to play, despite my hours lol. you're very lucky to be able to pace yourself. top man.

Beat him on my first try. Turns out that without a helmet bopping him in the head with a hammer doesnt feel very good. I think to his credit I did have to bop him twice, but still a very short battle.
