Doh!! What a good idea! Thanks for the tip.
for whatever reason, I wanted to be about level 9 or 10 before I moved on. Almost there.
So long as you don't let your stamina bar run out, you don't take health damage either. At least in normal mode with the weapons I have tried.
When you have made about 5k, go to the Neuhof stables, buy Al-Buraq and the four-bagged saddle.
With the horse you can carry so much loot, that Groschen should never be a problem as long as you avoid stealing heavy worthless stuff like the Gambesons, Chainmail and low-tier weaponry.
Also make sure to take all the chalices from the dining hall in the upper Rattay castle. Easy money.
There's plenty of good targets for looting, like the Bailiff of Uschitze or most traders and of course there is plenty of good stuff to be found in treasures, like the St. George sword, which is the bomb.
I studied archaeology and it's kind of off-topic, but I can't stress enough how much academics hate people who run around with metal detectors finding ♥♥♥♥ without documenting it properly. Also tons of WWII idiots run into the forerst to find explosives and memorabilie to sell to collectors.
But yeah, sometimes you find hoards of bent swords and depositions of lots of weapons.
It's criminal!
