steam folder/ common/ kcd/ data
then use winzip to open tables / libs / tables/ rpg/ then make 2 copies of buff.tbl and 2 copies of buff.xml.
open both the buffs with notepad and do a search for "asc" looking for perk_ascetic_digestion_hardcore in hardcore or
perk_ascetic_digestion in normal
or you can search for tapeworm in hardcore as well
then simply change the dig*0.70 in normal to dig*1.25 to require almost twice the food
i don't recommend more than dig*2, or you could starve to death in a day.
there's a "Tapeworm" debuff in hardcore that makes Henry just hungry enough for it to feel much more realistic - he ends up needing a big breakfast, big dinner, plus a small meal during the day - seems closest to right for me
if you want to modify the data files as described in the above post, here's a more complete description of how the game's data files can be edited, albeit with a different file, but the same rules should apply:

Please explain more detail. How to open current tbl file ?
Is ascetic perk required to work ?
i think ascetic perk was just an example
i think it was the process for changing the data files that they were mostly explaining, using ascetic as an example
here's another description of the process (i am thankful for bookmarks)
( the process requires unpacking (unzipping) the correct data file pak, modifying an xml file using a text editor (like notepad), and then resaving, repacking, and replacing the old data file pak with the new one )
