Can't brew the merhojed remedy
I've brewed it multiple times yet it always says unknown potion afterwards. I've done everything how it says but it keeps failing for some reason. Is this just a bug or something?

I was actually able to brew it this time. I was an idiot and put the phial on the still which is why it wouldn't brew

Ah that would explain it. You only do that when the last part in the list of instructions is to distill; otherwise you just move the phial straight to the cauldron for completion.

Glad it all worked out in the end.

It depends if you know what you are doing but as long as you follow the instructions to the letter it should work. Have you ever done alchemy in KCD before?

Yeah I was able to make the potion in my first playthrough but when following this to the letter it doesn't work at all in my second run

Strange. It's difficult to know for certain without watching you do the brewing but I guess it's possible it might be a bug.

I've looked around on reddit and such and it could be because i'm putting the thistle in and then bringing to a boil even though that's what the book says
