Where is Milan?
I neglected to take his quest when I first saw him and now I'd like to, but I can't find him at all. He's not in Rattay anywhere, and I cannot see any quest stars. Does anyone know where he is and at what times?

Look around. I never did that quest in my first play-through either but when I was trying to get my warfare stats to 20, I needed to find him. He was usually walking the streets of Rattay or on the hill going towards the mill. He's not hiding.
I have been looking around, but I've also been expecting to see a star on my compass that quest givers have. Will he have one while walking around?
I'm not sure if this helps but it's not really a quest he gives but an activity. So maybe you should look for the 'activity giver' icon instead of looking for a star? As MacSuibhne says he's definitely around. I also had a hard time finding him after completing the activity, acoording to my Google history that says I googled 'Kingdom Come Deliverance Milan location' I think I found him leaning against the East entrance to Rattay that time but he doesn't stay in one place very long.
Yep, you are correct! It wasn't a star but the activity icon. Thank you all for the help. I just walked up and down the hill leading to the south gate of Rattay until the icon appeared and I was able to do it. Naturally Milan is now all but naked.
That's nice :steamhappy: Watch out, though, something I only read recently about the game is if you fistfight with Milan, Ringlet or Steven and you don't crouch when you're looting them, they'll report you as a thief. This is according to https://kingdom-come-deliverance.fandom.com/wiki/Do_Me_A_Favour_-_Punch_Me!

If you didn't crouch this time, don't worry because the reputation drop will be barely noticeable. But still, especially when 'farming' these brawlers for some skills experience, better safe than sorry and crouch when you loot them.
Yep! I read that much when trying to read up on how to find Milan. Its unfortunate after you beat him the first time the quest marker will never appear again, even though an objective remains. It'd be nice if its marker were on him!
I agree. Often you don't even see a star for quest givers. For example, I finished Next To Godliness and I know the quest giver has more quests for me but there's no star on the map. I'm keeping this info deliberately vague so as not to post spoilers :Winking: But it seems a bit of a problem: you see a star, you do the NPC's quest and then you no longer see a star even though the NPC has more quests to give. This is not the case with activity givers. On the contrary, I'm seeing an 'activity giver' icon in the middle of Rattay square all the time but there's no NPC there. A minor bug, I suppose.
Maybe neither here nor there, but if I'm not mistaken you get a better xp boost from training unarmed with Bernard than fighting with Milan, Ringlet, or the other guy. And the coin you win is near-as-nevermind insignificant.
That's definitely possible, MacSuibhne. I never actually compared the xp gain. And indeed, the Groschen aren't worth it as you can increase the amount of Groschen you own as easily as increasing the amount of grains of sand you own in real life :steammocking:

Are you sure you cannot highlight the activity in the quest log with a shield icon?

That is true, but Milan is also horrible at fistfighting, and unarmored, while Bernard is armored and much better, meaning you're much more likely to get thrashed.

Yep. I've tried hiding and showing it, but nothing ever appears on the map.
