Noob question re: perks

Hey y'all

Quick question from a KCD noob. I've just started playing, and I've just hit main level 4. I want to take the "First Aid I" perk, but I don't have the "learn" prompt. When I press "more info", the only stated prerequisite for the perk is that I be level 3.

So what gives? What else do I need to get the perk? The "Scout I" perk is also not learnable for some reason.

PERK should be MARKED if you can Aquire them... As you play the game...perks will become available the MORE you use the skill set (ok...does this make any sense?) the more you FIST FIGHT...the more strength you get, etc...

I think first aid 1 is unique in that it is auto-granted at a certain point in the story. Not sure you have to take it anyway (or can take it, for that matter)

There are some You Tube Videos "Kingdomcome;Deliverance" BUT most of em are Game Spoilers...and can wreck the thrill of figuring things out for yourself? Your choice? Advice? Leave the HARDCORE mode until youve fully explored the Map, and Understand how this game plays to avoid getting frustrated...REMEMBER theres six(6) other game saves (besides hardcore) for NEW KCD games to be started on....that allow you to Play the game entirely differently too.(not the basic story line tho)...

No no I get that. Here's my problem: The perk appears to be available- It's near the top on the list of available perks, and is NOT greyed out, suggesting that I can take it. However, unlike the other not-greyed-out perks, I don't have a "press A to learn" prompt, the only option I have is "more info". Pressing that tells me I must be at least level 3, which I am.

I'm stuck because the game is not telling me what I need to do to learn the perk. What skill do I need to level up? Does the perk require more than 1 perk point?

Anyways,,,the Hard core/you tube is just general info
NOW your Level 1 first aid....you Dont realy Learn that...until you have LEFT the Cutscene learnig part of KCD and gotten to the First Castle..(yer gona get healed) Keep going...have fun...it will all makes sense as you play along...NO RUSH to the finish line as its a Role Playing Game..(yeah....theres gonna be a couple of TIME sensive quests..but thats much later)...

I picked every single flower, fungus and weed in Skalitz before talking to Dad. Got my herbalism up to like 13 or 14, traded the plants for a nice shirt, some repair kits, and some saviour shnapps. Also had like 100 gold as I fled the town.

Well I'm loving it so far, it's like someone threw Skyrim, the 1st Quest for Glory game, and For Honor in a blender. Too bad about all the bugs tho.

Edit: Also, Henry might be my favourite SP character ssince Niko Bellic.
