You also can't stack potions of same type but that must be obvious.
!! Good point, I hadn't thought about that. Thanks.
Can you list a few examples of potions of the same type, please?
And obviously 2 of the same won't stack (like Bard's Potion and another Bard's Potion).

all of them.
alchemy is the most video gamey mechanic in the game and lets you hulk out.
Some potions seem to have some sort of odd video effect associated with them - almost like drunken behavior - i've tried using 5 at once and i got very confused with the combined response.
In the end i determined that Aqua Vitalis, Bucks Blood, and Lazarus Potion combo is the right way to go. Reduces Damage, Doubles Stamina, and Low-Level Constant Healing.
Potions do fill you up, so be careful to not overeat - and there is an Alchemy Skill (Witcher) that reduces the "Nutrition" value of potions, so you can take more without overeating.
Lazarus has very long-lasting healing effect so it's perfect for such cases
So does Lazarus conflict with any of the others (excepting Marigold) like Aqua Vitalis?
