you have to confront zach about the copper during the main quest "all that glisters" in order to trigger the quest
I did, at least 3 or 4 times. And he just kept denying the accusation telling me that "he's been made into a fool". Then the convo kept ending in that part. Then nothing happened.
Found another way to complete All that Glitters wihtout finding out who was responsible for that copper thing.
Really don't feel like reloading back on a save game I made at least 1 week ago (to redo All That Glitters story quest) just so to have a chance to recruit either armoursmith now.
Thanks for the info though :)
you have to get the information from his son vitus too after you learned it in other ways, possibly it is enough to just get it from vitus too but i am not shure, if you heared it from vitus you will be able to get the quest rattled since zach cant deny it any longer.
At least you know how to do it if you ever make a new playthrough, i understand that you don't want to replay that much if your save was a week ago.
Ahh good to know. thanks! :)
I didn't talk to Vitus.
I think I found the "other route" after I saved some NPC's girlfriend in my playthrough. Then I opted to storm the workshop with Sir Ulrich, whom I redeemed and let go free.
So if anyone else in the same situation now and haven't finished All That Glitters yet. Feel free to use this post as a warning so you don't miss out on recruiting an armoursmith for your cities! :D
