OK, then let Henry, with his father's help, wheel and deal with the nobles to acquire property, servants and even an army.
the author is right, we need big things to invest on.
and i'm not even done with all the side quest and i'm barely at half the game.
What is unrealistic about being knighted, and granted a fiefdom to restore? That fiefdom would likely include at l'east a manor, that itself could be improved...
A knight would be essentially parallel I believe to Talmbergs guy in rank (forget his name).
Alas, the game, while built around some historical elements, isn't realistic.
The stores like you mention, potions, a number of the traits...
For real. Why not be granted Skalitz or Prebislavits (idk how to spell either) and asked to restore them? You could turn them into flourishing cities.
I would say it's really hard to get knighted, when your king is missing and you are fighting against the other :)
Because Henry isn't noble to own such place and it would not sit well with his quest for revenge.
As for adding them in this game, without a good story reason, I don't see it happening.
And even then, a lot of people would scoff at the idea of listening to a bastard. I mean knights and other nobles
It there were such a thing, Warhorse would have already be in history jail from all the inaccuracies
