It just indicate a part of the forest in which the deer is running around. You need to look for them as the deer is running around in that forest, not standing on that spot idle waiting for you to shoot them down.
Its Illegal everywhere I meant that there is animals around which you can hunt.. never said it was legal..
well if you cook it it losses its game status aswell so cant be used on poaching Quests.. also its kinda like cheating, gives you a ton of money in a way thats not lore friendly but sure its youre game play it like you want :)
