The House of God - Where is Leshek?

*Spoiler alert

-So now I'm at he point when I found the devil skull and confirmed that it's fake.
-I also spoke with the Talmberg quarrymen about the bad stone piece, and
-much later I returned to the Monastery. I was to talk to the boss Karel, and ask Leshek about the skull.
-I told everything to Karel, then to Zmola as I couldn't find Leshek in the area where the map marker tells me to. Zmola said Leshek ran away, but the quest marker to find him in that area is still there. Now is there still some clue that I just can't find? I could also report to the Talmberg lord what I learned, but this remaining marker still bugs me.

Ran away to the mill, right? I would talk to the overseer, you should be able to get the help of guards.

Did you get to the sequence on top of the scaffolding or did you somehow bypass that?

I had nothing related to scaffolding. I found the skull and the stone piece and went straight on to investigate their background (to gravedigger and Talmberg quarry), didn't go back to either of these guys to ask them about it. Perhaps this bugged the quest?

no there isn't, there's only Zmola and he says he ran away. No idea how to progress, I can deliver it as it is but i won't be able to go to the bottom of the issue with Zmola.

I just ended up reporting to the Talmberg boss as it is, I saw no other option to resolve the mission from that point. Happy end is not guaranteed, I guess.

Once I did meet an NPC called Leshek later, but I couldn't make any conversation with him, I guess it wasn't meant to be the same character. (named soldier in Radzig's military camp)

He is on the upper floor of the building. After you talk to him, he attacks you. It's better to quietly kill him from behind, because this is very hard fight. At least in my opinion.

This quest is time sensitive. You took too long to report to the construction site after finding out the skull is fake, so Leshek ''got away''. Better luck next time ;)

Yep, it is a great quest with different possible outcomes. In my later playthroughs I managed to get the good ending.
