And then there are even biggers swords like Zweihander, which is more like polearm
Edit: Seriously Steam? Secret word is B.a.s.t.a.r.d. sword
Yes, I know the difference. I dont agree to that these are "b.a.s.t.a.r.d. swords" tought. Blade is imo too long for those (b.a.s.t.a.r.d. sword being mainly armings swords with handle large anought for two hands).
Anyway, after handling "typical longsword" (more accurately federed, which is practise longsword with "average" lenght and weight to those that dont know) in RL and messer (1-handed single edged sword), I would take messer anyday if I had to use only single hand :)
Hand on pommel is very typical with longswords. In fact you keep your backhand there most of the times (you get more leverage). In certain moves you changes grip closer to each other get better moves.
You do know what Zweihander means, right? :P
Yes I do :) Point is that it was so large sword that it is more in category of polearms :) "Swords" being sidearms that you can carry around with you in most sitatuations :)
Fair enough.
He knows.
Yes, I know :) Again point is that it was more of (=used like) "polearm" that looked like sword than being "sword".
Sure, I just wanted to say that I believe the swords in the game not to be b.astard swords. The only time they are called that in game is in the training menu, I think.
