Where do I find Antonias Husband?
Offerred to heal her husband (Got First Aid 3) so I've been looking for her husband to no avail. Any help?

OMG.

I've probably spent 2 hours trying to get this bloody quest to work. I'm glad I finally figured it out. If you don't knock him out the option of talking to him will be greyed out, always. Unlike other sleeping NPCs he won't tell you to bugger off at all, the quest is obviously broken but that's the work around.

if you want to interrupt just a single npc while he's awake... throw some coins on the street. The nearest NPC will then interrupt its routine to pick up the coins. Then a new routine is assigned to him.

but there are also exceptions where this option doesn't work. but it's worth a try.

Good idea.

I think I still have a save from before I take the quest from Antonia, I'll give it a shot to wake up the random sleeping guy to see if I can heal him.

Didn't work.

I shot several arrows next to his head, and then shot his leg; he didn't wake up.

I'll try knocking him out and see if he "wakes up" after a few hours.

I definitely think he's Antonia's husband, but he can't be interacted with because the quest is borked.

HAHHAHAHA!!!

YES!!!!!

I GOT IT!

You have to knock out the villager, wait for a guard to wake him up AND THEN YOU CAN INTERACT WITH HIM AND HEAL HIM!

WOOOO

Okay, but Antonia won't recognise you healing her husband. You give him a lazarus potion, and you can give Antonia a rage potion, and the quest is...over? I guess?

I guess the only thing I can do now is come back after a week or so and see if the husband is dead or not.

At least we know who the husband is and how to heal him now, even if it's an "unnamed quest".
I'm going to wait a few days and see if he recovers or has any additional dialogue after receiving treatment.
So after 5 or 6 days, Antonia's husband wakes up and starts walking around like a normal villager.

Antonia will not recognise this.

Antonia's husband will not recognise this.

This is basically a non-quest where you either end up with a dead villager (literally called Villager) or a Villager that acts normal after you give him a lazarus potion and wait 5-6 days.

At least we got to the bottom of who he is, and where he is, and how to heal him though. Took a lot of effort for absolutely no reward, but hey, we got there.

Thanks for all the tips that lead me in the right direction, I hope this thread stays alive for anyone who googles the same question that lead me here :)

Can we get a mod to pin this for people trying to figure out how to finish the quest? Or maybe even fix the quest LUL XD

If they could make this non-quest an actual quest, that'd be nice.

I don't see the point of allowing us to further Antonia's story when she doesn't acknowledge your help, her husband doesn't acknowledge you healing him, and there's no active quest log to help you on your efforts.

The only clue was HanFred saying that the constantly sleeping NPC, who absolutely won't talk to you at all unless you break his routine by knocking him out, dies if you don't heal him in time. Definitely a non-quest that was only half implemented and probably forgotten about.

So I followed your advice, and was able to heal him with Lazarus. I'm playing with the save mod, so I noticed something intersting : when you advance that part of the quest, even after having technicly completed aquarius, it still puts it has the most recent quest you have done.

To be specific, I finished Aquarius 30 hours ago, and that's the last quest I have done according to my save after healing her husband and giving her the rage potion. I'm not sure this will change anything since the conditions for the quest progress clearly are'nt working right, but it seems to be the best result we can get at this stage of the game.

Well that's at least some indication that the quest progress is being recognized, even if Antonia doesn't seem to care that her husband is well again and she can stop carrying buckets of poop.

In my case 'knocking out' that villager just kills him which I suspect considering his condition is what should happen. However I did notice that he is not in that spot all the time especially very early in the day. So I've just got there at dawn and sat around (not using skip time) and at a few minutes after 8AM he came wandering along to that spot. And I could actually talk to him and then give him the potion (also had the option to examine him via First Aid which I passed on). Does note the quest and seems to advance it but nothing else happened other than he went to his sleeping spot, laid down and is now no longer able to be talked to.

Hmmm...Still have had no word from any dev's or moderators....Maybe it's not even meant to be a quest? Maybe just flavour text or something? Idk. So nothing has changed from the vast fixes in 1.3? That sucks :/

If you want a good outcome for Antonia just give her the cook's job it might displease Konrad Hagen but Antonia husband will actually recover from his injuries and illness and you can tell her to ask Agnes how to cook.

Lol was just googling to see wtf was up with this non-quest that didn't appear in my quest log. Hilarious that it remains completely unfixed to this day... Seems like something they would have had a chance to fix in the past 8 months.

Oh well, I "healed" her husband by choking him out and dropping him in the path of another npc as per the instructions in this thread and was able to interact with and him. So thanks for the help!

No worries, it was a fun bit of detective work ;)
