Ether the 3 Witches die or the bandit aka woodcutters
ether way the outcome seems to be the same.
my personal solution
I killed the bandits, killed the herb women aka mother of witches and now I will assasinate all the other 3 witches in their sleep :) figure its a better death than getting burned alive
Pity because everything else so far that I've played has been really good about the little decisions you do and being more grey in terms of your choices, instead of just being binary one way or the other.
Then you hit this quest and it's very railroaded and linear to one of two endings despite what you do specifically to prevent those outcomes.
Very disappointing.
the quest seems poorly done, i don't understand how henry even came to the conclusion those guys are woodcutters. For me they came out screaming generic enemy stuff saying "we found some little fun". When I get back to the priest to finish the quest henry goes on about them being woodsmen and them trying to kill the women for being witches. None of the dialogue really matches wtf happened, I see this in some other parts of this game but this one quest made just was blatanlty off, felt like i wasted my time doing the damn thing.
Also if you choose not intervene the bandits or so called woodsmen are in there hallucination form all kitted out like some fantasy barbarians.
