is there a cheat , other than get gud, to get more lockpicks?

I tried cheat engine, game crashed, tried to look for something for console but found nothing. wondering if anyone has found a way.

No... You have to just buy them. They're cheap, knock any guard out, steal all of his gear, pawn it a day later, you're rich.

Game crashes when using cheat engine? Hm...That makes this only the 2nd game I've ever seen to have cheat engine protection on it.

Honestly I am now level 10 in the game and I had never problems in opening chests that are "easy". If you progress more and upgrade your skill you will be able to open other chests aswell. But its like an mmorpg when your level is too low just avoid chests that are to hard for you now. Come back later when you advance in skill and buy knowledge from trainers.
So far I didnt loose a single lockpick in the game.

There's that nexus mod you can download that provides a visual representation of the sections of the lockpick for easier picking. I think it was mentioned in the news section for the game.

that would be nice, I have minor nerve damage to my hands so it makes precise movements difficult. Do you know if the eye tracking bit would help and if there is a external eye tracking bit you can buy for under $100?

No the sweet spot is a box you need to find the edges and then draw your mouse in a circle, you don't really use anything but the wrist. lay your hand on the mouse and use only you wrist.

Cheat engine dosent crash for me, if you got 1.22 version but anything else Idk.

Turning down the mouse sensitivity atleast until you get a feel for locks and your character gets more skilled. It can help a little.

I did that my mouse has the DPI button top used lowest helped, I didn't squeeze with my fingers either which makes it move side to side more than curve for me anyway.
